Little secret: I don’t use a posing chart.
You know the ones—stick figures, hand on hip, tilt your head fifteen degrees. If those worked, every gallery would look the same. Yours isn’t supposed to look like anyone else’s.
So here’s what I do instead: I chase the light with you. Through open fields, down downtown streets, up whatever trail leads to your view—and while we walk, we talk. I’ll direct the frame when it counts (a hand here, a half-step closer there) and stay out of the way when it matters, because the moments I’m really after happen in between: the laugh you didn’t plan, the look you gave each other before I even raised my camera. Those can’t be posed. They can only be noticed.
My job is to keep the pressure off, keep the light gorgeous, and keep my camera up while you’re busy being yourselves. Every frame stays intentional; every laugh stays real.
So no, you don’t need to practice your poses or curate a Pinterest board of angles. Just bring your person, wear the thing that feels like you, and let me chase the light. I’ve got the rest.
